Policies & Guidelines
Students, Faculty and Staff acknowledge that you are physically able to engage in any activity, program or training provided and agree that all exercises and use of this facility are undertaken at your sole risk. You also agree to accept full responsibility for all personal belongings. Members of the campus community and visitors to the campus are expected to abide by University regulations as well as federal, state and local laws. Any person(s) not able or willing to do so may expect disciplinary action by University and/or civil authorities.

Proper Clothing &
Hygiene
- Appropriate athletic shoes only. No Street shoes, boots, or sandals are allowed in workout areas.
- Shorts, sweatpants, T-shirts, tank-tops, & Spandex accessories deemed appropriate by management.
- Clean workout clothing is required. Any visible hygiene condition will be addressed by management and may require corrective action.
- Gym bags, book bags and purses are not allowed in the weight room. Please keep valuable at home. Again, we are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
- Personal locks may only be used on a daily basis. Lockers and locks can be rented by the semester.
- No belt buckles, blue jeans, or loose jewelry items can be worn in workout areas.

Food & Drink
- Water bottles with spill proof lids are allowed in all areas of the weight room. All other drinks and food are not permitted.

Equipment &
Cardiovascular Area
- Please be courteous at all times. Allow others to work in during your rest periods.
- Keep hands and feet away from all moving parts and weight stacks.
- DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any equipment that has malfunctioned. Report any equipment problem immediately to the staff.
- Use disinfectant and paper towels provided to wipe off benches after each use. If you are unfamiliar with the use of any equipment, please ask a staff member to assist you.
- All cardiovascular machines will be used on a first come first serve basis. Each machine will be limited to 20 minutes if others are waiting.

General
- Please be courteous at all times. Allow others to work in during rest periods.
- Rack all weights after each use. If dumbbells appear loose or cracked, report the problem to staff personnel immediately.
- Always use a spotter when attempting a maximum weight. Collars and clips are to be used for "free weight" lifting.
