A panorama of the OCU campus

Office of Student Engagement, Inclusion & Multicultural Programs

The Office of Student Engagement, Inclusion & Multicultural Programs (SEIMP) initiates, advances, and promotes programming for OCU campus students and student organizations through co-curricular and community service activities and experiences, which emphasize diversity, appreciation, and respect among domestic and international students, faculty, and staff. Collaboration and inclusion are cultivated through supporting organizations that represent diverse students of African American, Asian, Hispanic, Indian, Iraqi, LGBT, Muslim, Native American, Saudi, and other ethnically and culturally based groups.

SEIMP also administers the Clara Luper and American Indian Scholarships. These scholarships help provide a private college education to deserving students who have demonstrated academic and leadership excellence, in addition to financial need. Clara Luper and American Indian scholarship recipients merge with members of OCU Leads to form the President’s Leadership Class, a leadership cohort that collaborates in academic, co-curricular, and community service projects throughout their academic tenure at OCU. Students who participate in the leadership class and other campus organizations form lasting personal and professional relationships with fellow students, faculty, staff, and alumni that contribute to their development as effective and prominent leaders in their respective communities.
