International FOOD Fair 2010 

Mission Statement:

The Multicultural Student Association’s mission is to provide active support and entertainment for Oklahoma City University’s students, faculty and staff and the surrounding community through cultural, social, and intellectual exchange, as well as serve as a representative of the international organizations on campus.

We strive to carry out our mission statement through the following activities and events:

  • OKC Day Tour: A day tour around Oklahoma City for new students every Fall semester. Vsiting places include many tourist attractions of the city.
  • Mr. and Ms. International OCU (yearly) Pageant for international students with the areas of talent, interview and evening wear. 2009 winners.
  • International Showcase
  • FACES International Talent Showcase (yearly) Students from around the world share their talents with us!
  • International Food Fair (yearly) Students from around the world share their culture through presentations, food, and wearing their traditional costumes.
  • Starlinks Dialogue between international and domestic occurs and friendships are formed through watching a movie from a particular culture, having someone from that culture talk about issues brought up from the movie, then discussing the movie in small groups.
