Heather Shotton

Heather Shotton
Coordinator of Multicultural Programs

Heather Shotton is a member of the Wichita & Affiliated Tribes.  She resides in Norman, OK with her husband John and two daughters, Sloan and Sophie.  Heather received her B.A. in Native American Studies and Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma.  She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Adult and Higher Education at the University of Oklahoma.

Heather joined Oklahoma City University in 2006 from the University of Oklahoma.  Her research and experience include American Indian student success, retention, diversity issues in higher education, and student development.  Heather currently serves as the Coordinator of Multicultural Programs in Multicultural Students Affairs, where she works closely with the American Indian Scholarship Program and the Clara Luper Scholarship Program.
