Joshua Waddell
Director of Career Services

Prior to OCU, Josh Waddell was the Assistant Director in the Career Development Center at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.  He also served as the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions at Monmouth University where he oversaw the admissions process for several key programs, and taught as an adjunct faculty member.

As the Director of Career Services, Josh serves as the liaison to employers and is available for individual career counseling appointments with students and alumni to discuss a number of different topics including: career/major choice, job/internship search strategies, resume/cover letter writing, interviewing techniques and many other issues related to students’ career planning and placement. 

He earned his BA in Sociology from Grinnell College, Grinnell, IA and his MSEd at Monmouth University, West Long Branch, NJ. He is from Oklahoma originally and excited to return to the area. 

He is married to Kathy Waddell, and they have one child, Zack.
