OCU Rhythms

Oklahoma City University Rhythms (OCU Rhythms) was founded in 2003 by Moenike Simms.  It is an organization devoted to the free-spirit and enterprise of entertainment.  This organization was based on a dream that there would be a creative outlet on campus for dance styles not previously explored.  Although Oklahoma City University is home to one of the most prestigious dance schools in the nation, OCU Rhythms was founded as an organization open to every member on campus to fellowship while celebrating culture and dance.  Currently with thirty-six members coming from a wide spectrum of nationalities, and cultural experiences, OCU Rhythms has established itself as a key player in the service of multicultural awareness on the Oklahoma City University campus. This has been one of the greatest accomplishments for this fairly new organization and something that OCU Rhythms take great pride in.  As an active organization, we have been able to invite our audiences to join us in the artistic, athletic, and multicultural festivities occurring within the OCU community.
