Student Health has over-the-counter medications available to students, staff, and faculty without an appointment. Click here for a list of the medications available.
How Does This Work?
Just bring your OCU ID Card and payment to the Student Health Clinic during open hours. We'll have you fill out a short order form and pay for the medications. You'll receive the medicine and some helpful information. That's it!
What If I Need Something That You Don't Have?
Let us know if there's a product that you'd like us to carry. We'll see if it's available and add it to our products if we can.
Can I Put the Medicine on my Student Account?
Unfortunately we are unable to put medications on your student account. We do, however, take cash, check, or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover).
What If I Don't Have any Money Today?
We do have some free bags with medications for some common illnesses and complaints. You can still see the nurse for free and she can provide you with samples of some medications that will last you about a day or so.
What is the Medicine Cabinet and why should I get one?
The Medicine Cabinet is your greatest tool to treat those inevitable illnesses and injuries that will arise while you are at school. Student Health wants you to have the tools you need to succeed. We've compiled the most commonly used over-the-counter medications into one container and included a box of tissues, some wound care items, and a personalized Self-Care Guide (just for OCU Students) that you won't find anywhere else. You are more than welcome (in fact, we encourage you) to make your own Medicine Cabinet, but some parents and students find this task daunting with so many choices. These are the most common medicines that students at OCU need during their college years. Feel free to take the list below and grab these items for yourself. Student Health is trying to make it as easy as possible for you and your parents to ensure you have everything you need for your health without having to make another trip to Wal-Mart or Target. In most cases the cost of the Medicine Cabinet is the same or lower as most retailers like Wal-Mart or Walgreen's.
Please pre-book your Medicine Cabinet by contacting Student Health. All pre-booked Medicine Cabinets will be available on Move-In day. If you forget to pre-book, we will have a few extras. If we run out, you can order one and we will have it available as soon as possible.
