Security considerations
The nature of wireless networks is they allow users to connect to the network by use of
radio signals which are broadcasted to all recipients in their local area. This makes
it easy for any third party to intercept network traffic intended for, or generated by,
someone other than themselves. Wireless users should be aware of this and make every
effort to keep their communications secure. Please do not relay any personal information
over an unsecured network such as the guest wireless network.
It is strongly recommended that OCU students, faculty, and staff configure their
wireless devices to use the encrypted and more secure wireless network as opposed to this
guest wireless network.

Getting connected to the guest wireless
- “OCU_Guest” is the broadcasted SSID for the guest wireless network. Have your computer or handheld device connect to this service.
- Open a web browser to see the login page. If you have an OCU username and password use it to connect. Otherwise register as a guest user.
- That’s it! You are now on the guest wireless network.
