My name is Rob Vera and I am proud to have the opportunity to work with some of the best students in the nation to make their dream of attending a great university come true.
I’m originally from Lewisville, Texas, and I’m a 2003 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
Outside of work, my passions include music, reading, sports, and writing. My favorite bands include Radiohead, Wilco, and the White Stripes and there is nothing I enjoy more than seeing music performed live. Books such as Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables, Bret Easton Ellis’ The Rules of Attraction, and C.D. Payne’s Youth in Revolt are three of my all-time favorites. English Premier League’s Everton FC and the NHL’s Dallas Stars are my favorite interests. I’ve been working at Oklahoma City University for a few years now and I feel blessed to work with such bright and talented students. I look forward to serving you in the future.
