About the Ann Lacy Center
Dedicated on December 10, 2003, thanks to a gift from trustee, Dr. Ann
Lacy, the visitor center is the university’s gateway for prospective
students, alumni, friends and all visitors of the university.
The building formerly housed the United Methodist Church’s Oklahoma
Conference offices and was extensively renovated to include a third floor.
Tenants consist of core recruitment and marketing departments to include
admissions (undergraduate, graduate and international), visitor services
and institutional advancement (alumni, development and university
relations).
Furnishings throughout the building were donated by a number of university
benefactors. Dr. Lacy took a personal interest in providing furnishings
for the building that would be warm and welcoming to provide a good first
impression of the university.
The Ann Lacy Admissions and Visitor Center is located on Blackwelder at NW 24th Street. Visitor parking is available on the east side of the building or directly across the street in front of the Clara Jones Administration Building. |
Oklahoma City University has adopted a tobacco-free campus policy. The use or distribution of tobacco, including smoking and the use of smokeless tobacco, is prohibited on university property, including all indoor and outdoor spaces, private vehicles on campus and university-owned, leased or operated vehicles. This policy applies to students, employees, visitors, and vendors.
