Mind
Intellectual wellness is the utilization of human resources and learning resources to expand knowledge and improve skills. Intellectual wellness refers to active participation in scholastic, cultural, and community activities.
Those who are intellectually healthy are open to new ideas, think critically, and seek out new challenges. They have a sense of humor and a sense of their place in the world. They are creative and curious and never stop learning. An intellectually well person assimilates what is learned in the classroom with what is experienced outside the classroom in order to enhance their potential for living a more fulfilling life.
Traveling a wellness path, intellectually, you'll explore issues related to problem solving, creativity, and learning. You'll spend more time appreciating and thinking about the scenery along the path-pursuing interests, reading books, magazines, and newspapers. You'll discover a natural interest in keeping abreast of current issues and ideas. As you develop your curiosity, you'll actively strive to expand and challenge your mind with creative endeavors and eventually improve your intellectual health.
