Chamber Music in Madrid

Spend nine days in Madrid metro immersed in the Art of Chamber Music. Perform in some of the most famous venues in Spain like the Ateneo. This non-credit course will provide nine days of intensive musical study, rehearsal and performance with professors Courtney Crouse and Stephen Lochbaum. After the first few concerts, students will have several days free to sightsee and enjoy the Spanish lifestyle. This program offers a unique view into the life of a professional traveling musician, full of the joys of experiencing a new culture while learning to balance the demands of a disciplined musician who practices daily, gets enough sleep, and is mentally prepared for a high level performance. Get ready to make you performing debuts in Spain!

This program is open to Music and Music Theatre majors.

Credits: This is a non-credit course, but it will appear on students' transcripts and will be graded.

$300 nonrefundable deposit upon acceptance to the program

Balance due January 15, 2019 and nonrefundable after that date.
