LGBTQ Advocacy and Leadership in Greece
Participate in this unique partnership exploring quality creative forms of expression with a focus on LGBTQ populations and leadership in Athens, Greece.
This faculty-led program is a 2-week, 3-credit study abroad partnership between Oklahoma City University (OCU) and Oklahoma State University (OSU). Explore the roles education and advocacy play within the context of gender and sexuality minorities in Greece—and back in the U.S.
Visit the Acropolis, local graffiti art, collaborate with Colour Youth and learn more about Rainbow Families. Explore Delphi. Cruise the Saronic Gulf and visit the islands of Hydra, Poros, and Aegina.

Dates: May 11 - May 24 inclusive of travel days.

Accommodation: Shared rooms (2 to 3 students per room) in 2- to 3-star hotels in central Athens. Some meals provided.
Program Fee
$3450
Includes 3 credit hours of tuition, housing, excursions, entrance to historic and cultural sites included in the course, some meals, transportation for all excursions included in the program. Airport pick up and drop-off in Athens within a published window of time on the arrival date.

Scholarships and Financial Aid
- Some state and federal financial aid, generally in the form of loans, may be available
- Some students may be eligible for a supplemental Pell grant for summer study (requires 6 CH). See your financial aid advisor.
- OCU study abroad scholarship applies. Note that there is an early-decision scholarship deadline; however, this scholarship may not be used for the nonrefundable deposit.
NOTE: Students must be enrolled in a total of 6 credit hours over the summer to be eligible for federal or state financial aid.
