About the Program

Over the past 45 years, Santa Reparata International School of Art (SRISA) has become one of the top art and design schools in Florence, Italy. SRISA offers accredited programs of study including: academic year, semester, and summer study abroad in Fine Arts, Liberal Arts, and Design. All courses are taught in English, but students may study Italian while at SRISA. SRISA’s highly personalized instruction and experiential learning conforms to the expectations and requirements of an American university curriculum. The SRISA academic program is enhanced with extracurricular activities, art exhibits, field trips, cultural seminars, beyond-the-classroom learning, guest lecturers, museum visits, student art shows, fashion shows, and more.

Accommodations

Housing at SRISA

Housing arrangements are typically provided by SRISA for all students enrolled at the school.

Housing Options:

  • Double occupancy room in a shared apartment
  • Single occupancy room in a shared apartment
  • Private apartment
  • Arrange your own housing *

Housing costs include rent, reasonable utility usage, check-in service, staff assistance, and administrative fees.

Students are housed in apartments located within a 20-minute walk from SRISA. All apartments are fully furnished with the essential necessities for independent living.

Apartments are equipped with the following:

  • Kitchen with refrigerator and stove, oven and/or microwave
  • Dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and glasses
  • Bathroom with shower and/or bath
  • Blankets and pillows
  • Internet

Note: Telephones and linens are not provided

Fees

Fall 2018

Tuition and fees: Students pay OKCU Tuition and fees

Student Housing: $3980 (Double Room) $4780 (Single Room)

Activity Fee: $500 per semester

Meal plan is not offered, but students have kitchen facilities in their housing.

Medical Insurance not required.

Transportation to and from the airport: $50 to $70

Passport and visa fees: Mandatory Permit of Stay $230

Spring Semester 2019

  • Must be at least 18 years of age at beginning of program
  • Minimum 2.75 GPA
  • Good standing with OKCU

    Student activities and field trips offer students great opportunities to make new friends while exploring all corners of Italy . Excursions include Rome, Venice, Milan, Turin, Cinque Terre, Naples, Ravenna, and Sorrento.
