Semester in Morocco
International University of Rabat
About the Program
The International University of Rabat (UIR) is internationally oriented; its openness to the world occupies centre-stage of its teaching and research missions. Since its beginnings, the UIR has set for itself the goal to become a university that stands by its name: The International University of Rabat. Its goal is to become an internationally renowned university offering high quality education and promoting internationalization through projects that facilitate the mobility of students and faculty. UIR hosts a large number of foreign students each semester, with international full-time students representing 2 percent of the enrollment.
The international office, in charge of students' orientation and administrative follow up, organizes culture immersion activities such as day trips to cities like Casabalanca, workshops (henna, pottery, calligraphy, to name a few), and city tours (Rabat and Salé). All activities are free of charge except for overnight trips.
