You're home. Now what? The Office of Global Engagement not only helps you prepare for studying abroad, but we also want to help you face the reverse culture shock of coming back to Oklahoma City University. We have several ways for you to engage with us and reflect on and utilize all you learned from abroad.

Stars Connect

Each year Oklahoma City University hosts several exchange students from our partner universities abroad. Star Connect is a group of students interested in befriending these students and introducing them to American culture. Students that are part of Star Connect may engage with incoming exchange students by taking them on shopping trips during arrival week, going to campus events as a group, attending cultural events in Oklahoma City, or participating in weekend excursions planned by the Study Abroad Office. Study Abroad Volunteers

Are you interested in sharing your experiences from abroad with other OCU students? The Study Abroad Office is always in need of students to present in classes, information sessions, student groups, and during study abroad fairs.
