Game Design & Animation at OCU

Friday, February 5 at 4 PM CST | Friday, March 26 at 4 PM CST

Join the exciting industry of game development with a degree in Game Design & Animation at Oklahoma City University. Our students will study technology, artistry and art history as they develop skills to become a whole artist. This virtual event will offer students a chance to meet with Game Design & Animation faculty, current students, and an admissions counselor to learn more about this exciting new program.

Virginia Wagner Artist Talk

February 11, 2021 at 6 PM CST

Virginia Wagner is a painter and writer living in Brooklyn, NY and teaching at Pratt Institute. Wagner’s work is focused on the conflict between human progress and the natural world. Join us as she presents an artist talk on her paintings, which look at cycles of construction and destruction and how climate change and human development are reshaping our landscapes. She will discuss the role of art in creating empathy and awareness, elegizing what has been lost, and reminding us of all we can save.

Zach Zecha Artist Talk

March 4, 2021 at 6 PM CST

Zach Zecha is an artist and educator currently living and working in Oklahoma City. Zecha earned his BFA in painting from the University of Colorado Denver and his MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. His work focuses on using found materials that offer a history of labor from every individual that has touched them.

The Nona Jean Hulsey Gallery is open to the public Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. While we won’t be hosting gallery openings this fall due to COVID, you are welcome to explore the gallery during visiting hours. See below for our gallery shows and more information on how you can participate.
