Transfer from St. Gregory's

We've made transferring from St. Gregory's to OKCU easy!

Your admission application fee is FREE to transfer to OKCU.

All application fees are waived for St. Gregory’s students.

APPLY NOW

The Kramer School of Nursing application deadline has passed, but for St. Gregory's transfer students, we've extended our deadline for the Spring 2018 semester.

All Undergraduate Programs at OKCU are accepting transfer students from St. Gregory’s University that meet admissions requirements.

For St. Gregory’s students, we will not be capping the number of transferable credit hours at 84 like we normally would. There is an exception in Business as AACSB may restrict how many hours can be transferred from a non-AACSB-accredited school.  We will look at the applicants to the Meinders School of Business on a case-by-case basis with the AACSB guidelines in mind.

The Office of the Provost will waive the general education requirements for St. Gregory’s students transferring in as a junior or senior classification on a case-by-case basis.

Transfer Scholarships

Scholarships are available for students transferring from St. Gregory’s. See scholarship opportunities and tuition costs below. Based on cumulative college GPA, renewable for a maximum of five consecutive semesters. Full-time enrollment of 12 or more hours per semester is required for scholarship. RN-BSN Nursing Students, Adult Degree Completion Program students, and other students in discounted tuition programs are not eligible for academic scholarships.

These scholarship offers are only for St. Gregory’s students transferring in during the Spring 2018 semester. Any transfer for a semester beyond that would receive the regular transfer scholarships.

Freshman Scholarships

Academic scholarships are based on ACT/SAT test scores (excluding writing portion) and high academic ability as indicated by grade point average. To receive any Oklahoma City University merit-based scholarships, incoming Fall 2018 freshmen students must submit their application and all required documents* by the priority deadline of March 1, 2018. After the priority deadline scholarship amounts are not guaranteed. Full-time enrollment of 12 or more hours per semester is required for scholarship. Awards are renewable up to seven consecutive semesters (excluding summer terms) with required minimum cumulative 3.0 unweighted GPA. Oklahoma City University recalculates every high school grade point average on a standard 4.0 scale.**

This award is based on a combination of the student ACT or SAT (excluding writing portion) and High School GPA.** Full-time enrollment of 12 or more hours per semester is required for scholarship.

NOTE: The same deadlines apply for Departmental Awards as they do for Merit Based Scholarships. See Merit Based Scholarships for more details.
