YOU MAY QUALIFY FOR FINANCIAL AID

If you have a 3.0 GPA or higher, you may qualify for Academic Scholarships from $8,000–$13,000 per year.

At Oklahoma City University we are committed to making our unique educational experience as affordable as possible. Over $34 million in aid is awarded each year. Academic and competitive scholarships, like the three Biology scholarships below, can be stacked up to the cost of tuition.

The Mary Ellen & George R. Randall Endowed Great Plan Scholarship for Pre-Med and Science

The Mary Ellen and George R. Randall Endowed Great Plan Scholarship is a competitive four-year scholarship covering tuition, basic room and board, and fees that is awarded to a graduating high school senior who plans to study pre-medicine at OCU. The Great Plan selection committee assesses multiple criteria, including but not limited to ACT/SAT scores, GPA, and application essay, and financial need. An on-campus interview will be scheduled with qualifying applicants.

To apply for this scholarship, you must first submit an application for admission to Oklahoma City University. If you qualify for consideration for the scholarship, the Biology Department will invite you to submit a department scholarship application by the February 1 deadline.

Frank G. Brooks Memorial Scholarship

The Frank G. Brooks Memorial Scholarship is a competitive, full-tuition scholarship awarded to an outstanding freshman student who chooses to study biology at Oklahoma City University. This award cannot be combined with other university scholarships. The scholarship selection committee will assess multiple criteria including, but not limited to, ACT/SAT scores, GPA, and application essay, and financial need. An on-campus interview will be scheduled with qualifying applicants.

Susan C. Barber and David P. Nagle Endowed Scholarship

The Susan C. Barber and David P. Nagle Endowed Scholarship is a competitive, partial-tuition scholarship awarded to an outstanding freshman student who chooses to study biology at Oklahoma City University. The scholarship selection committee will assess multiple criteria including, but not limited to, ACT/SAT scores, GPA, and application essay, and financial need. An on-campus interview will be scheduled with qualifying applicants.
