The Oxford Plan for Transfer Students

Transfer students in the Oxford Plan can qualify for preferred admission to the Oklahoma City University School of Law.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the Oxford Plan for Transfer Students, you must have completed an associate's degree with a cumulative undergraduate GPA average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent). In addition, international students must have an internet-based TOEFL (IBT) score of 100 or higher.

How to Apply
  • Complete the university application for admission. A $55 application fee is required.
  • Submit the required documents to complete your application.
  • Complete the online application for the Oxford Plan. You will be asked to upload your resume and to submit a 250-word response to the question, "What interests you about the study of law?" Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and you should be notified of decisions within two to three weeks following the completion of the application.  
  • Log in to your Star Page. This is a personalized guide through the admissions process that allows you to check your application status and contact your counselor and get other important news about campus events.

Your online application will be evaluated by OCU faculty who teach in the Oxford Plan. You should receive a response concerning your application within two to three weeks.

If you score above a 22 on the ACT/100 SAT with a 3.0 GPA, you qualify for: 

Academic scholarships from $1,700–$8,000 per year

Departmental scholarships from $3,000–$11,000 per year
