BA in Studio Art

The BA in Studio Art is a flexible program that allows students to study art within the framework of a liberal arts education. Degree requirements provide a firm foundation in art practice while leaving room for students to consider expanding their academic experience with minors or double majors. Other students may choose the BA in Studio Art because it provides prerequisite coursework for careers or academic work outside the art discipline.

The Studio Art program requires a total of 124 credit hours of coursework: 49 credit hours of GenEd courses + 51 credit hours of Studio Art courses + 24 credit hours of electives. Required courses for the major are listed below.

Current and prospective students should contact a member of the faculty with any questions or to make a personalized plan for degree completion.
