The Meinders School of Business offers world class one-day workshops for those who would like to gain pertinent knowledge of basic and advanced legal concepts that serve as the foundation for federal Indian law and tribal law, or critical aspects of negotiation and conflict. Workshops are facilitated by outstanding faculty who will bring a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to your learning experience.

Tribal Law I

This one-day workshop covers basic legal concepts that serve as the foundation for federal Indian law and tribal law. The materials covered will enhance your understanding of the complex system of laws that impact tribal governance. No prerequisites required.

Tribal Law II

This one-day workshop focuses on advanced Indian law concepts extending from general federal Indian law application. The materials covered will enhance your understanding of the complex federal and tribal laws and regulations that govern multiple areas of tribal initiatives and the government-to-government relationship. No prerequisites required.

Negotiation and Conflict

Using Harvard University's negotiation framework of "principled negotiation", Judge Kim Parrish will lead you through exercises, discussions, video clips and role-playing exercises designed to help you develop into a top-flight negotiator and problem-solver. No prerequisites required.
