Community Dance Academy

Welcome to the Community Dance Academy located at Oklahoma City University. The Community Dance Academy has served hundreds of students since it was established in 2007. Our mission is to provide dance classes to the greater Oklahoma City area while serving as a learning laboratory for the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment students at Oklahoma City University. Our affiliations with Oklahoma City University allow us to uniquely provide qualified university-trained instructors in a fun, safe, and healthy environment.

The Community Dance Academy offers dance classes to students of all ages. Classes are offered in tap, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop. Our small classes, 7-12 students, present students with personal attention, which helps them improve and gain confidence. The office staff is available during class times, giving our families professional and immediate assistance. Participation in our annual showcase is at no cost to our students. There are no recital or costume fees, and tickets to the performance are FREE!
