Biography

Billy Palumbo is an experimental filmmaker. Through unpredictable camera movement and a blend of identifiable and abstract imagery, his work explores the limits of language and the dizzying impermanence of moving images. His films, including “Curley: A Historiophoty by Billy Palumbo,” “Figuring,” and “Bound,” have screened and won awards at festivals across the country, including Onion City Experimental Film and Video Festival, Athens International Film + Video Festival, and UNEXPOSED Film Festival. Billy holds a BA and MFA from Emerson College.
