Biography

Bobby “Trae” Trousdale is a Sophomore Mass Communications major with an emphasis in Strategic Communications and minors in Social Media and International Studies from Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Trae is a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, the Student Philanthropy Committee, the Native American Society, various other organizations and was the first ever Director of the Student Civic Engagement Committee at OKCU during the 2018/2019 academic year. He became civically engaged at the young age of seven, when he actually chained himself to tree in the downtown area of his rural hometown. Today, rather than being chained to a tree, you can find him on campus working to revitalize the sense of community among the student body and attempting to create the most productive and impact SGA possible. Trae began attending OKCU in the fall of 2017 and is currently one of two American Indian Scholars within his classification, a Carolyn Watson Opportunities Scholar for Oklahoma City Community Foundation and boasts several scholarships from local organizations in Tecumseh. In his free time: Trae loves to fish, grill, and play Native American Stickball.
