Eli Coronis comes from Texas Woman's University where he was a Director of Major Gifts following 6 years in various advancement roles at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. At DePauw, Coronis most recently served as a Charitable Gifts Officer (Major Gifts) during a successful $380M comprehensive capital campaign. In that role, he was responsible for individually securing more than $6.8M in cash and commitments from alumni, parents and friends in support of the campaign. He also created and co-led a successful $14M scholarship endowment initiative (finishing at $17.37M) for the top merit based award at the institution, the Rector Scholarship.

Prior to serving in that role, he worked as an Associate Director of Annual Giving for DePauw, which gave him the opportunity to work with leadership, annual giving, class reunions, athletics and loyalty programs. Coronis has also served as an Admissions Counselor and Alumni Event Planner for Woodbury University in Burbank, California and a Chief Development Officer at Mutual Mineral Partners.

Coronis served in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base from 2004-2008. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Business from Oklahoma City University in 2010, and his master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University.

While at OCU, he joined Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, served as a resident assistant, served as the President of the Interfraternity Council and as the Vice President of the Student Government Association. As the Vice President for the Student Government Association he helped to lead the efforts to create the first costumed mascot, Starsky, for the university. He is married to Jessica (Tussey) Coronis a 2009 OCU BFA - Acting graduate.
