Biography

Ethan Zambrano joined the University Advancement team in March 2023. Originally from Minnesota, Ethan is a two-time graduate from Oklahoma City University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in American Dance Pedagogy in 2019, and his master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership in 2022. While in school, Ethan was involved with many student activities including Greek life, Relay for Life, and Dance Marathon. After graduating in 2019, Ethan was the dance director at Harding Fine Arts Academy, a public charter school in Oklahoma City. He has also taught at various dance studios in the OKC metro. After his master’s degree program, Ethan interned with Make-A-Wish Oklahoma in their fundraising and events department. There, he developed a passion for nonprofit work and fundraising, especially. He is excited to be a part of this team and give back to the university that gave him so much.

Ethan continues to teach dance at Ascend Dance in Midwest City, where he also serves as the scholarship coordinator. He lives in northwest Oklahoma City with his two dogs, Lilo and Stitch.
