Great Plan Scholar

George Randall graduated from Elk City High School and attended Oklahoma City University on a Great Plan Scholarship.

He then attended Washington University Medical School in St. Louis and completed his residency in otolaryngology (ENT) at Barnes Hospital. He was certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology in 1976, and moved to Wichita, Kansas, where he founded and served as president of the Mid-Kansas Ear, Nose and Throat Association. There are presently six ENT specialists in his group.

Randall is now retired. He is past president of the Medical Society of Sedgwick County and serves on the boards of the Medical Society and World Impact. He and his wife, Mary Ellen, have established a Great Plan Scholarship at OCU as one way of giving back to the university that gave him a start.
