Jack Golsen is Chairman Emeritus and founder of LSB industries, a worldwide manufacturing conglomerate that includes, among others, the world’s leading water source heat pump manufacturer (Climate Master) and fan coil manufacturer (International Environmental Corporation). He has acquired or started approximately twenty industrial companies, some of which were combined to form LSB. Golsen has several banks and insurance firms and organized and owned Equity Bank for Savings, N.A., in Oklahoma City.

He served as the Executive Chairman of the Company’s Board from January 2015 until January 2018 and as the Company’s Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer from 1969 until 2014, as well as the Company’s President from 1969 until 2004. In 1996, he was inducted into the Oklahoma Commerce and Industry Hall of Honor as one of Oklahoma’s leading industrialists.

In 1971, several books credited Golsen with saving Wall Street from total collapse by agreeing to the Hayden Stone Bailout; he was also credited by Fortune Magazine and the New York Times for the final decision that prevented a major national economic catastrophe.
