Biography

Jason Foreman is the Professor of Scenic Design and the Head of Design and Production at the OCU College of Performing Arts. His recent designs include TheatreOCU: 20th Anniversary Oklahoma City Bomb Project, Jackie and Me, Metamorphoses; The Grapes of Wrath (w/City Rep); and Uncle Vanya. OCU Opera & Music Theatre Company: L’Enfant et les Sortileges; Suor Angelica; South Pacific; 9 to 5. Reduxion Theatre Company: Sweeney Todd. Canterbury Choral Society/OCU: Bernstein’s Mass

Professor Foreman has also worked as a designer and scenic artist for Oklahoma Children’s Theatre, West Virginia Public Theatre, Houston Shakespeare Festival, and Southern Repertory Theatre. He previously taught at Rice University, Sam Houston State University, and the University of New Orleans. He holds his MFA in Scenic Design from California State University, Long Beach and he is a member of United Scenic Artists, Local 829.
