Biography

Dr. Striplin joined the Kramer School of Nursing in 2016 to develop the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP program. Since coming to the KSN she has taught in the BSN-DNP program teaching Advanced Pathophysiology and Advanced Pharmacology, as well as teaching the acute care students in both the BSN to DNP and post-master certificate students. She has been a nurse since 1997 and an acute care nurse practitioner since 2008. Her background is in interventional cardiology working with ischemic vascular disease and its complications. She enjoys teaching students in both the entry courses and then watching them further understand that information as they develop in the track specific courses.
