Biography

Judy Love was born in Chicago, but attended elementary school and high school in Oklahoma City. She attended University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University for one year each prior to marriage. She returned to college and graduated with an undergraduate and graduate degree from University of Central Oklahoma and was awarded an honorary doctorate from Oklahoma City University. Judy is married with 4 children and 9 grandchildren. She and her husband Tom started a business in 1964 that would become Love’s Travel Stops, currently located in 42 states and employing over 24,000 people. Judy is past board member of 13 city based non-profit organizations and current member of 7 others. She has been awarded 31 various community honors, among them Oklahoma Hall of Fame, Oklahoma Women’s Hall of Fame and Most Powerful Woman in the City. She has been co-chairman of 24 fund raising projects for the community.
