Biography

Dr. Tavakoli received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. Dr. Tavakoli did his postdoc as a Peter M Curran Visiting Assistant Professor at Fordham University in New York. He has taught at several colleges of the City University of New York including Hunter College, Lehman College, and Laguardia.

Dr. Tavakoli’s research interest include Real and Complex Analysis, Conformal and Hyperbolic Geometry, Dynamical Systems, Graph Theory, and Probability Theory. He has published in prestigious journals and has given talks in numerous conferences and seminars. He is also a reviewer of mathematics journals.
