Biography

Mindy Windholz is a graduate of Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS, where she earned her BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, as well as her Master of Science in Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds licenses in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor. She has worked in a private practice setting and a victim centered environment, specializing in domestic violence and sexual assault.

Mindy has experience in working with depression, anxiety, substance abuse and addiction, women’s issues, sexual orientation, and severe and persistent mental illness, as well as issues common to many college students: relationships, self-esteem, test anxiety, and adjustment to new life experiences. Mindy has also worked with members of marginalized and disenfranchised communities and continues to educate herself on social justice and visibility of underserved folx.
