Areas of Expertise

Professor Davis is the Reference Librarian at the Chickasaw Nation Law Library at Oklahoma City University School of Law. Her areas of expertise include legal research and writing. Prior to becoming a librarian, Professor Davis practiced family law in Tucson, Arizona, and conducted research on court reforms in child abuse and neglect proceedings as part of The National Evaluation of the Court Improvement Program.

Professional Activities

Professor Davis is a member of the State Bar of Arizona (currently inactive), the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), and the Mid-America Association of Law Libraries (MAALL). She serves in an editorial capacity on three professional publications: (1) as Editor-in-Chief of MAALL Markings, the chapter newsletter for MAALL; (2) as Associate Editor for Technical Services Law Librarian (TSLL), the official newsletter for the Technical Services Special Interest Section of AALL; and (3) as a member of the Board of Editors for Legal Reference Services Quarterly (LRSQ), a professional journal for law librarians.
