Biography
Professor Gettings joined the Kramer in 2019 as an adjunct clinical instructor and joined as faculty in 2021. She is currently teaching for the Traditional BSN program and teaches theory, clinical, laboratory, and simulation in that program. She has worked in various roles as an RN including: Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Urology, Hospice and Palliative Care, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. As a nurse practitioner, she has worked in family medicine and vaccination, wellness outpatient clinic. Professor Gettings passion in nursing remains on disease prevention through knowledge and education and supporting the person’s right to a peaceful death with dignity.
