T.W. Shannon serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Bank2, in Oklahoma City. Bank2 is the only bank in the country that is wholly owned and operated by a tribal government, the Chickasaw Nation. Prior to joining Bank2, T.W. served as the Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. He was the youngest Speaker in the state's history, and was the first Chickasaw citizen and first African American to hold the post. He served House District 64, which is in southwest Oklahoma. Prior to his service in the state legislature, T.W. served as Chief Administrative Officer for the Chickasaw Nation. He has operated his own public relations consulting operation for over a decade, and he continues his public service as a leader in state and national politics.

T.W. is a graduate of the Oklahoma City University School of Law. He is married to his wife Devon of fifteen years and the couple has two children, Audrey Grace, who is 12 and Tahrohon Wayne, II, who is 8.
