Celebrate the rebirth and rejuvenation of spring with a trip to the Chickasaw Cultural Center for the Three Sister's Celebration. Named for the Chickasaw's ancient intercropping system of planting the essential Three Sister crops of corn, beans and squash to promote soil health and crop fertility, this seasonal festival highlights the tribe's connection to nature with horticultural tours and gardening demonstrations. In addition to the agricultural presentations, this family-friendly event features a variety of activities including language lessons, stomp dance, stickball, traditional games, storytelling and free film screenings in the Anoli' Theater.
