The OCU Film Institute is pleased to partner with Rodeo Cinema to offer a 20th anniversary pop-up screening of "Amélie" (2001), directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. On the day of Princess Diana's death in 1997, Amélie Poulain makes a discovery that sends her on a secret mission to change the lives of her friends and neighbors for the better. Shot in over 80 Parisian locations with lively visual textures, the film provides a smart, imaginative take on the charms of modern-day Paris as it follows Amélie to her ultimate mission: finding love.
