This scholarship is named in honor of Dr. George R. Randall and his wife Mary Ellen. Dr. Randall was a recipient of a Great Plan Scholarship while attending OKCU. He, along with other past Great Plan Scholars, established this scholarship to be awarded to a graduating senior who plans to study pre-medicine or science at Oklahoma City University.
The prestigious Randall Great Plan Scholarship is a competitive, four-year scholarship covering block tuition, basic room and board, and basic fees. This award cannot be combined with other university scholarships.
The scholarship selection committee will assess multiple criteria including, but not limited to, ACT/SAT scores, grade point average (GPA), letter of recommendation from a teacher or mentor, community involvement, and application statement. Interviews with selected applicants will be scheduled during the month of February and notifications will be made by the end of February.
