Biography

Patrick is currently performing as the second percussionist of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma, USA and Masters degree in Percussion from Oklahoma City University.  Patrick earned a Postgraduate Diploma in percussion performance at the Birmingham Conservatoire in the U.K. under Adrian Spillett (City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra).  He has performed with many different ensembles, playing with groups such as the Fort Smith Symphony, Tulsa Symphony, Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra as an extra player.  Patrick has competed in the Birmingham Conservatoire Percussion Prize and was a finalist in the 2015 Great Plains Marimba Competition.  As an educator, he is currently teaching percussion at Oklahoma Baptist University and Oklahoma City University.  He is also part of the Great Plains Percussion Group, which has performed chamber recitals around the state of Oklahoma.
