Julia Edmoundson

Administrative Assistant to the Law Registrar

Works at the Law School, Suite 315
At OKCU since March 2016

What do you do at OKCU?

Julia's job is student-focused. She handles enrollment and student requests, such as for transcripts; she maintains student files, helps with course prep, including exams, and maintains colleagues' calendars for her department. “We handle a massive amount of paperwork,” she said. Every day is different, which she appreciates. Ameé Shaw, law school registrar specialist, said Julia is “an invaluable part of our team. She is extremely personable and interacts well with our students and fellow staff members. She is very dependable, and we definitely feel like she can handle any task that comes her way.”

What have you done in your career?

Julia previously did administrative work for a medical billing company.

What do you like about working here?

Julia enjoys how, at OKCU, employees work together to help students, help the university grow, and get OKCU’s name out in the community. “We all have a common goal of taking care of our students,” she said. “It's a lot different working here, feeling you’re appreciated and all on the same team.”

What’s something people may not know about you?
