The OCU BSN Program at Duncan Regional Hospital

Our flexible BSN program is for students earning their first bachelor’s degree, as well as those who already have a Bachelor's or eligible Associate's degree in another field but want to change careers. The degree is a four-semester program (students enter in their junior years) offered at Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan, OK.

Guaranteed Employment in Duncan or Lawton

All tuition and fees for the four semesters are completely covered by scholarships from Oklahoma City University and Duncan Regional Hospital or Comanche County Memorial Hospital. Following graduation students are guaranteed employment at Duncan Regional Hospital (Duncan) or Comanche County Memorial Hospital (Lawton).

Students entering the Duncan Regional Hospital program will need to meet the university’s general education requirements and nursing prerequisites. Cameron University’s Associate in Science in Allied Health Sciences, plus a world religion course, satisfy the general education requirements. Students complete four semesters at Duncan Regional Hospital.

Duncan Regional Hospital Scholarships

Duncan Regional Hospital provides up to 20 competitive scholarships awarded at the start of each academic year. Preference is given to students from Stephens County, Jefferson County, and southwestern Oklahoma residents.

Additionally, DRH provides up to 15 loans at the start of each academic year for recipients who agree to work at Duncan Regional Hospital for three years post-graduation. These students enjoy guaranteed employment and graduates who complete the requirement are not required to repay the loan.

Comanche County Memorial Hospital Scholarships

Comanche County Memorial Hospital provides up to 20 competitive scholarships awarded to each BSN cohort. Preferences are given to southwestern Oklahoma residents. Students receiving the scholarships agree to work at Comanche County Memorial Hospital for three years following graduation.
