Grading Policies

Remediation of Academic Difficulties

The program will require students to perform at or above 70% in individual courses and concentrations.

If a student fails to achieve this minimum for a course or semester-long concentration, they will be required to spend one month on the subject at the conclusion of the didactic phase, either through independent study or through clinical experiences.

Demonstration that the requisite knowledge has been obtained via follow-up testing qualifies the student for advancement.

Failure of the remediation month or two courses and/or concentration areas may result in the student restarting the program. A student may be given only one opportunity to restart the program. Failure of a course and/or concentration after restarting the program will result in dismissal.
