How to prepare for the fair
Prepare a resume that will lead to an interview
Do your research
- Review the employer list and get familiar their company, mission and open positions.
- Prepare questions in advance! Employers are looking for thoughtful and proactive candidates.
- Never ask, "What does your company do?"
Polish your networking skills
Dress to impress
- Interview attire is always appropriate. Never show up in club/date attire!
- Check out our Pinterest page for ideas.
- Nice business casual can work, but be cautious and ask a career advisor when in doubt.
- Shorts, flip-flops, ball caps, skirts more than 3 inches above the
knee, untucked shirts and sloppy athletic shoes are never OK.
