Jordan Andrews

During his time at OCU, Jordan was a private vocal coach, pianist, OCU staff accompanist, and was involved with the OCU Jazz Ensemble, The City Cabaret, Opera on Tap, and music directed the “Ahhx Chords.” OCU shows he has performed in during his second Master’s Degree were Die Fledermaus as Gabriel von Eisenstien, Lucia di Lammermoor as Enrico, OCU OPERAtions’ production of Gianni Schicchi as the title role, L'amico Fritz as David, and Side Show as Jake.

He performed as Billy Bigelow in Carousel with Upstage Theatre and has worked with Painted Sky for multiple productions including Amahl and the Night Visitors as King Melchior and Il Barbiere di Siviglia as Fiorello and the Figaro-cover. Last summer he had the opportunity to perform with Cincinnati Opera in their production of the Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess.

This summer he hopes to participate in the Bayview Music Festival and perform as Germont in La Traviata and in the ensemble of Beauty and the Beast.

After graduation, he hopes to work as a staff pianist for up to another year to save money before moving out of Oklahoma City and look for performance jobs in the meantime. Congrats, Jordan!
