E. Study Abroad

OCU offers a robust study abroad program including faculty-led tours and exchange programs in a wide range of countries across the globe. Studying abroad provides great opportunities to enhance the college education while living in another country. Whether in or beyond the classroom, studying abroad offers enriching academic and cultural experiences that simply can’t be realized in an Oklahoma City classroom.

Students who participate in rigorous international experiences develop skills, attitudes, and characteristics that can significantly enhance academic goals, career paths, and personal growth.

To study abroad, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Students with a 2.50 to 2.99 will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Be in good standing with the university
  • Have completed at least one year of full-time study at Oklahoma City University by the time of departure
  • The university reserves the right to refuse any student's request to study abroad based on conduct, health, or other considerations.
