A. On-Campus Housing

Oklahoma City University affirms the contributions of on-campus living in enhancing the academic environment and in providing satisfying personal and social experiences. The University offers numerous options for on campus living, including traditional residence hall-style residences, apartments, and fraternity housing.

Residence Halls

Housing Options

There are six residence halls on the OKCU campus: Banning, United Methodist, Harris, Draper, Smith, and Walker.

Residence Hall Directors/Resident Assistants

A Residence Hall Director leads each of the residence halls. In addition, each hall has resident assistants who help students build community, are available as a campus resource, and to help students succeed in college living. Residence hall staff enforces housing policies to support an environment that supports academic success.


Residence halls are equipped with the following services/amenities (may vary from hall to hall):

  • Irons and ironing boards
  • Washers and dryers
  • Soft drink and candy machines
  • Microwave ovens
  • Ice machines
  • Television/DVD player (in common areas)
  • Vacuums, brooms, mops, buckets, and trash bags
  • Ping-pong and pool tables
  • Sports equipment
  • Study rooms
  • Computers
  • Wifi

On-Campus Apartments

Cokesbury Court

Cokesbury Court offers apartment living with the convenience of being on-campus. Amenities include the security of a gated community with card-key entry, activated by a student ID; an outdoor swimming pool; onsite parking; and a laundry facility within the clubhouse. Apartment options include furnished studios as well as two- and four-bedroom units. All utilities are provided, including basic cable TV, and internet access provided by OKCU’s Campus Technology.
