Apply to OCULeads

Criteria

To be considered for OCULeads:

  1. Applicants must be entering freshman (direct matriculation from high school).*
  2. Applicants must submit the application for admission by February 1, annually.
  3. Applicants must have a High School GPA of at least 3.25 cumulative.

How to Apply

To complete your application, you must submit an application for admission to Oklahoma City University.

Program

OCULeads students will enroll in "The President's Leadership Class" (PLC), a one-hour course during the fall and spring semesters of their freshman year (Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m.) This class is a non-credit course and will receive a pass/fail. Through the course curriculum, students will gain insights into their own leadership strengths and group dynamics. The PLC will also engage in:

  • Living/learning community activities.
  • Volunteering for and planning local community service projects.
  • Attending exclusive events at the invitation of the OCU President and class advisors.
  • Meeting scholars and distinguished guest speakers visiting OCU.
