Members of the OCU community and the public are invited to a special presentation by Mrs. Annette Brunner and Dr. Mark Brunner.
Titled Annette Remembers: A Memoir of Life Before, During, and After the Nazi Occupation of France, the presentation will offer a unique firsthand account of growing up in France during one of the most difficult periods of the twentieth century.
Accompanied by her son, Dr. Mark Brunner, Mrs. Brunner will recount family experiences and stories from her youth, illustrated with photographs from the period. Together, they will explore a deeply human question: What was everyday life like for a young person growing up in France during the war?
